McGill University Centre, 3480 McTavish St.
Language Inclusive: French, English, and Spanish
In the challenging times of 2025, on this global day of unity, we join the United Nations and Peace One Day movement to gather and remember that peace begins with oneself, and radiates outwards,
from one "island of coherence” to another.
The Stances of the Day

Let’s co-create a powerful moment of presence, creativity, emergence and possibility.

Moving Together Toward a Peaceful World – From Within
Join us for a unique one-day gathering to mark the International Day of Peace through the Social Arts: writing, movement, art, music, stillness, and embodied presence. Together, we’ll create a generative space where each person’s presence matters, and where the social field is ripe for connection, openness and emergence.
WHERE AND WHEN:
Location: McGill University Centre
(Students’ Society of McGill University Building),
3480 McTavish St, Montreal, Quebec H3A 0G3Sunday, September 21st, 2025
From 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Why Montréal?
Because Montreal, with its rich diversity of language, culture and socio-economic perspectives, has always been a meeting place and remains today a place of dialogue, acceptance “of the other” and reconciliation.
What will we explore?
In a co-created safe-space, we will explore how we can move forward and/or discover new perspectives on the key questions that we each hold at this time around the very idea of personal, community and global Peace.
